article idears (update)

As I want to forced my magazine on Durham itself I had to change some of the articles that where just college based and write about things which involved Durham itself.

Ideas that I had for articles where things like:

• The Golden mile of Durham - which highlighted all the pubs on the riverfront
• Photo contest in Durham
• Best pubs in Durham
• Top hair salon in Durham
• Top fashion shop in Durham- (Andersons of Durham interview)

As I wanted to keep to the conventions of the article being aimed at females for a higher middle class I decided that my main article will be the top fashion shop in Durham as this will appeal more to this target demographic audience. the other article i will also include will also be linked to the female perspective as the magazine has to appeal to them to fit in with the convention of a regional magazine. which can be seen in magazine like Living North where there regular section has a full bit purely on fashion.
